Warehouse Worker
Emson Builders Limited, is a company based in Liverpool. We currently have projects that are happening in Glasgow and Manchester. This position would be for Glasgow and would be for a Warehouse temp to perm role.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that product is received, processed, packed and shipped in compliance with company policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery in the warehouse, ensuring that it is cleaned out on a regular basis. This position will also be responsible for the loading unloading of trucks, ensuring that product is received and stored in a safe and secure manner. The Warehouse Worker will also be responsible for the general maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds.

Essential Job Functions:
·Unloading trucks using forklifts or hand truck/van
·Loading product using forklifts or hand truck/van
·Operate electrician’s tool kit when necessary to operate equipment and test products for defects or to complete deliveries
·Receive in-stock products using forklifts or pallet jack, check with quality department for quality control inspection if necessary
·Packing completed orders accurately and efficiently using automated system as needed.
·Receive out-of-stock products using pallet jack or hand truck/van. Clean out inventory by removing parts from bins, boxes or barrels.
·Complete accurate invoices for deliveries as needed. Input correct shipping information into computer system.
·Assist with inventory control when needed. Maintain organization of warehouse space. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse at all times. Keep work area clean by picking up trash daily.
·Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
·Previous work experience in a warehouse/customer service/sales environment preferred.
·Forklift/Pallet Jack/Hand truck/Van experience preferred but not required. Must have valid Driver’s License with good driving record; must be able to pass a DOT physical exam and background check; must have a good driving record; ability to work overtime as needed; ability to work independently; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively with others; ability to handle physical workload (lifting up to 100 lbs.)and standing up for long periods of time while working in an outdoor environment; computer skills are desired but not required.

Salary: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
