POSITION: Production Assistant
REPORTING TO: Senior Project Manager
LOCATION: West Norwood
We are currently looking for a Production Assistant with Events Industry experience to join our small but busy team. As a Production Assistant, you will undertake a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks. Taking direction from the senior project manager you will be a key part of the planning and administration of our event technical delivery as well as helping to ensure the smooth running of day to day activities in our West Norwood head office.
this role is a full time position based on 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. and would be very well suited to someone who has recently graduated or has some experience in junior events roles. This role presents a great opportunity to develop skills and experience in event planning, specifically technical production, with opportunities for development and promotion for the right candidate.
You are a dynamic and well-organised person with experience of working in a fast paced office environment within the events industry.
You will be proactive and ensure your work supports the company’s needs. We are a small close-knit team that works to help each other across our roles. You should have at least one year’s experience of working in a similar office based events administration/clerical role, or a degree in an appropriate field.
Day to days task can include:
- Assist Project managers with event administration and organisation, including production and dissemination of plans, schedules and other event associated documents. compiling event briefing packs.
- sourcing and ordering specialist event equipment.
- Assist with data entry for project document creation.
- compile and disseminate project information to relevant parties .
- Assist the operations staff to coordinate logistics and staffing, including, crew booking, travel and accommodation arrangements etc.
- Assist with general office administration including monitoring/ordering office, cleaning and kitchen supplies, collection/distribution of mail couriers etc.
- management of company and senior management diaries, including travel booking.
- Assist with data entry for project document creation.
- compile and disseminate project information to relevant parties .
- other admin/clerical duties as appropriate.
This role will be primarily office based. The role has some scope for flexible working. This role is permanent and is based on a minimum 37.5 hour working week. PR Live is a technical provider to the events industry. previous experience of this industry is required but specialist training will be provided where necessary.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Previous experience working within the events industry, preferably in Technical production
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills
- attention to detail.
- Great communication skills
- Computer Literate, with knowledge of G Suite
Work Remotely
- Some remote work will be possible after the probationary period, dependent on workload in agreement with your line manager.
