Buying Assistant - Cosmetics
12 month FTC
Reporting to a Buying Manager, you will mainly be responsible for data collation for the Cosmetics area of the sourcing/buying team.
You will work with Buyers, Buying Managers, Masterdata and other members of the wider team to collate the information required for products to be entered in the SAP system. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, based in Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will be a cross functional team player, who is analytical in approach, has excellent Excel skills and is able to demonstrate clear communication and organisation, shows enthusiasm and flexibility. A basic knowledge of SAP would be useful but not essential.

About the opportunity
- Gather and analyse data to support collation and information to be submitted to Masterdata.
- Track the data through the process and report on progress on a daily/weekly basis.
- Administer cost price queries, gather and analyse information to enable the population of Cost Price Increase Templates.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with all areas to ensure cross-functional / business-working initiatives are delivered
- Contributes to development & implementation of Best Practice for continuous improvement.
- General sourcing Team administrative tasks
About you
The ideal candidate will be a cross functional team player, who is analytical in approach, has excellent Excel skills and is able to demonstrate clear communication and organisation, shows enthusiasm and flexibility. A basic knowledge of SAP would be useful but not essential.
- The ideal candidate will have office environment experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential.
- Computer literate and proficient in working with Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Be a team player; use your own initiative, work to deadlines and able to prioritise workload.
- Multi tasking and flexibility is a requisite for this position.
